A healthy body has the muscular strength, flexibility and sufficient energy to perform and enjoy daily activities to the best of a person’s ability. Optimum Physical Wellness is achieved through:

  • Good Nutrition
  • Regular physical activity
This pathway to Wellness offers education, staff support and guidance and many activities for the individual. The goal of the physical dimension is for the individual to utilize the resources offered to create a self-directed approach, which promotes successful living.
Some Pathways
Physical Wellness is achieved and maintained through:
  • Participation in the preventive maintenance programs of the Clinic, including regular check-ups, periodic screening, vaccination and inoculation, dietary and other counseling
  • Compliance with medication and other doctor-recommended strategies to maintain health and build strength
  • Sensible eating and drinking
  • Regular physical activity, including exercise, strength and balance, pool therapy, dancing and recreational walking
