When will I start meeting with WCCB to talk about my move in?
New Bay Tower residents will start meeting with our Design/Move In Coordinator to make selections and upgrade decisions beginning in June of 2024.Close
Who will be moving in first?
The move in schedule starts on the ground level and will work its way up to the 22nd floor.Close
If my unit is ready before my scheduled move in, can I move in early?
This will be addressed on a case by case basis.Close
How much will my customization cost me?
- It varies based on the type of customization being requested. Just as a reminder, we will have 4 standard packages that you can mix & match, that will be offered to depositors at no cost. There will also be premium packages with different finishes, for an additional fee.
- These meetings will start in June of 2024.
- There will be a brochure coming out that will summarize all the options for all depositors.
Can I see what the appliances and finish options look like in person?
Yes, we will have a Marketing Suite set up as a model that will include all of the standard appliances and finish options.Close
What happens if I can’t meet in person to pick my appliances or finish packages?
We can do this virtually, but we encourage people to come onsite.Close
How do I choose the appliances that I want?
We will have a standard package that will be at no additional cost, and then there will be a premium package. These appliances will be available to look at in the Marketing Suite.Close
Will I be able to tour my unit before the project is complete?
No. There will be a person assigned to each unit who will be doing a pre-move check-in before you move in. We will also have at least one group hardhat tour during construction for all depositors. There are also virtual reality tours available online. The Marketing Suite will have a mockup of a standard kitchen and bathroom as well.Close
How can I look at the construction progress?
We will have a webcam that you will be able to check out and watch our progress.Close
When should I start ordering furniture?
Any time you want, but remember we will not have onsite storage for furniture prior to building completion. We will also be offering furniture packages for depositors.Close
What happens if my furniture (power) requirements change after construction on my unit begins?
This can be tricky – if this happens there will be additional costs associated with the change. Please contact your move in/design coordinator as soon as possible.Close
Who handles my move in?
Our move in/design coordinator will work with you to give you your specific date timeframe for your move in. We will have a list of preferred moving vendors that you may choose from.Close
Will all the dining areas be available for use once I move in?
The 5th floor common space & dining venues will be open when the ground floor residents move in. You will also have access to the dining amenities in the East and West Tower as well.Close
Can I garden my own plants?
You may do whatever you like on your own balconies and there are also garden plots on the main campus (but there currently is a waitlist).Close
What should we do if there is a hurricane?
The building is designed to be a shelter in place and can sustain 134 mph winds.Close
